We offer a range of different shipping options to Australia and New Zealand. Please review the following shipping terms and conditions to gain a better understanding of the likely shipping turnaround times. Note that these should be used as a guide only and may vary from time-to-time in accordance with various external conditions such as weather/natural impact, road conditions and courier-related errors. We always aim to ensure that your products are dispatched in a timely manner to save you waiting to receive your beautiful goods!

Standard Shipping

Flat Rate of $15.95* Australia Wide to major capital cities - a surcharge may apply outside of major cities and for remote areas - we will contact you if this is the case.

Estimated delivery time (guide only):

Please allow 3 to 5 business days to major capital cities in Australia and up to 12 business days for remote locations.

*Flat rate shipping is valid for parcels up to 3kg in total weight only and to major Capital cities – an additional surcharge may apply for heavy/large parcels and we will contact you to discuss should this be the case.

Express Shipping (Australia Only)

Flat rate of AUD $18.95* to any major Australian capital city.

All express shipping is sent via Australia Post services.

Typically overnight delivery to major capital cities in Australia if orders are placed prior to 12pm AEST.

Please allow additional time for remote locations.

We are currently unable to provide express shipping to New Zealand at this point in time.

About our Shipping

We are very proud to say that all of our standard shipping is sent using couriers or carbon-neutral postage who help reduce our footprint by providing a 100% carbon-neutral delivery service!

About our Packaging

Raw Cottage aims to minimise the use of excess packaging wherever possible; however, we are also fully aware of the need to get your beautiful products out to you unharmed and in great shape, which is why we have spent a great deal of time and effort trying to source some eco-friendly packaging solutions which are as earth-friendly as we can get them at this stage. While we are possibly not as perfect as we aim to be one day, below is a little more information for you so that you can trust that we are doing our best!

Boxes – We aim to use fully recyclable cardboard boxes to ensure sturdy packaging with minimal impact – you can choose to reuse and repurpose them as you wish (which is the ideal) and once you feel they have lived their life, please just flatten them and pop them in your household recycling.

Tape - We use landfill-biodegradable packing tape – and try to keep it to a minimum! You can rest assured that when disposed of in landfill, this tape will biodegrade away, without fragmenting into small pieces causing potential harm to wildlife.

Fill/protection – we use acid-free tissue paper along with natural Kraft paper to carefully wrap and pack your items and Ranpak’s Geami Wrap, which is basically cardboard bubble wrap – bubble wrap without the plastic! All of these can be recycled with your household recycling – or even better, you can reuse them / repurpose them if appropriate.

Satchels – Our Satchels are also either 100% home compostable (Certified AS 5810) – they can even be given to the worms! Yes, you read that right… We use satchels made from Corn starch, PLA (Polylactide)and PBAT (Polybutyrate Adipate Terephthalate) thanks to the clever people at The Better Packaging Co.

If the compostable variety is unavailable, we also use Pollastic mailers which are made using 100% ocean bound recycled plastics - these can all be recycled with your regular soft plasctics. These are supplied by The Better Packaging Company and are 200% carbon offset, B certified - in a view to make a little difference in the world!

Shipping Labels – Even our shipping labels are industrially compostable! (EN13432) because every little bit counts!

To take it to the next level, we have managed to partner up with Noissue who print our stickers, ensuring that they too are earth-friendly, printed using soy-based inks on FSC Certified paper!
