Suggested Use

Use to soothe and calm irritated skin. For use on cuts, scratches, stings, mild burns, chapped lips, sore baby bottoms and when 'magic' cream is called for. Apply a thin layer of balm to the affected area. Application may be repeated 3 times a day or as needed. If irritation occurs cease use. For external application only.

Plantain (Plantago lanceolate)

Plantain is well known to alleviate inflammation caused by bites, stings, rashes, eczema, burns and cuts. Plantain also contains wide-ranging antibacterial activity attributable to the biochemical aucubin and can also behave as an analgesic, soothing bites and superficial wounds. The component allantoin aids in tissue regeneration and so accelerates healing.

Calendula (Calendula officinalis)

Calendula contains flavonoids which possess powerful antioxidant properties. These compounds protect cells from pro-inflammatory compounds like C-reactive proteins. Studies have shown that calendula infused products speed the healing process and decrease recovery times. This wonder-healer contains anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties which makes it an amazing wound healer and all-round soothing addition to this soothing balm.

Beeswax
